School Uniforms & Dress Code
The St. Francis of Assisi 2017-2018 school uniform and dress code policy can be found below. All school uniforms for the 2017-2018 year can be purchased at Parker Uniforms at the Parker store at 1110 N. Post Oak #140 Houston TX 77055 or online at parkersu.com.
The daily uniform (Monday-Wednesday and Friday) for all girls (PK3-8th) is a gray polo (with monogram) with a plaid culotte or navy pants. The mass uniform (Thursday) for PK3-5th is a plaid jumper with a peter pan blouse. The mass uniform for 6th-8th is the sailor blouse with a plaid pleated skirt and plaid tie. Monday through Thursday white shoes are to be worn and Friday black shoes are to be worn.
The daily uniform (Monday-Wednesday and Friday) for all boys (PK3-8th) is a gray polo (with monogram) with navy pants or shorts. The mass uniform (Thursday) for PK3-8th is a white oxford with a plaid tie and navy pants. Monday through Thursday white shoes are to be worn and Friday black shoes are to be worn. A black, dark brown, or navy blue belt is required if pants are designed with belt loops.
JACKETS AND COATS
A navy blue cardigan, V-neck sweater, or sweatshirt can be worn in the classroom. Navy sweaters and sweatshirts are the only outerwear that can be worn at Mass or inside the school building. Students may wear other jackets to and from school, in the gym and on the playground, but not inside the school classrooms and church building.
P.E. UNIFORMS FOR K-8TH GRADE
Students change into red shorts and their SFA Spirit Shirt for P.E. class. Shorts must be at appropriate length above the knee (approximately 4 inches). Sweat pants approved by the coaches are allowed during cold weather. Cargo pants and pants with large pockets are not allowed.
